Woodstock Weavers Guild Hosts Exhibit Reception CANCELLED

September 17, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Woodstock Weavers Guild open house/reception scheduled at the Ulster County Historical Society Bevier House on September 17 is CANCELLED.

The exhibit of weavings continues and the museum is open on weekends.

Join us for a reception highlighting the Woodstock Weavers Guild’s exhibit of handwoven pieces produced by guild members, in conjunction with “An Evolution of Textiles” at the Ulster County Historical Society’s Bevier House, 2682 State Route 209, Kingston, Friday, September 17, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

The exhibit is open through late October 2021.

Weavings on display throughout the museum include wall hangings, table pieces, clothing, blankets, and other pieces all woven by hand using wool, linen, silk, Tencel, and cotton.

Members will be available to explain the techniques and materials used, and light refreshments will be available.

The Woodstock Weavers Guild was established in 1972 to foster interest in hand-weaving and textile arts. Membership information is available at the museum or on our website woodstockweavers.org.
