Use the form below to apply to teach online for MAFA Virtual's 2023 Mini Virtual Conference. We will contact you as soon as possible about your proposal.
Class proposals for the 2023 MINI Virtual Conference are now closed and we are full. If you are interested in submitting a proposal for a class or lecture in our ongoing virtual class schedule CLICK HERE.
We are offering a two-day Mini Virtual Conference July 8-9, 2023 in addition to our in-person conference in June.
We will host approximately two dozen classes or demonstrations of 2 or 3-hour length, in weaving, spinning, dyeing, felting, sewing, surface design, and any other fiber-related practices.
We are only scheduling single-session classes and presentations at the Mini. For longer or multi-session topics, please submit on the regular MAFA Virtual workshop proposal form.
Sessions may be lecture/demonstration or hands-on with students working along during class time.
All sessions will be in regular Zoom meetings with the opportunity for interaction with attendees, unless you choose webinar with Q&A.
As with our ongoing virtual classes, we will use Lessonface to manage registration and host the Zoom meetings and recordings.
All classes will be recorded and available to students for 30 days after class concludes.
