Housing Details

  • The dorm is air conditioned and has elevators. All rooms are non-smoking.
  • Housing is provided for 3 nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday).
    • You may arrive on Wednesday and pay an additional fee for that night. The fee includes Wednesday dinner and breakfast and lunch on Thursday.
    • Sunday night stays are NOT an option.
  • When registering, you will be able to indicate roommates and/or suitemates, as applicable.
  • We attempt to assign guild members to rooms that are near one another.
  • Those with mobility issues are housed either on the first floor or near the elevator.  Indicate mobility issues when registering.
  • On the second floor of each wing, there is a kitchen, with a fridge and microwave, as well as a laundry room.
  • Alcohol is not permitted in public spaces at Millersville University and any alcoholic beverages stored in the dorm kitchens will be discarded by MU staff.
  • Except for service animals, MU has a firm No Pets policy in the dorms and classroom buildings. Review the full university policy HERE.
  • Packing List: a packing list will be provided closer to the conference.  In general, remember that these are empty dorm rooms, not a hotel. Beds are furnished with a blanket, pillow, sheets, and pillowcase. Two towels are provided. You may wish to bring an additional blanket and/or an extra-long twin fitted sheet, mattress pad, or a sleeping bag since the mattresses are covered in plastic, and the flat sheets provided tend to slip.  Dorm beds are 36″x80″ (referred to as twin college length, long or sometimes extra-long.)

Dining Details

The dining facility is a full-service, all-you-can eat dining hall. It provides hot lines, salad bar, build-your-own bowls, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and vegetarian and gluten-free options. When registering, you may indicate special dietary needs and we will make every effort to accommodate those needs.

Note: the meal plan ends with breakfast on Sunday.

Commuters and daytrippers may purchase meals individually at the dining hall check-in desk at the prices below.  Individuals without a meal plan or ticket may not enter the dining hall.

  • Breakfast – $8.65
  • Lunch – $11.25
  • Dinner – $15.20
