- We particularly want to find new-to-MAFA and more diverse speakers, as well as topics that don’t quite work in the in-person conference’s 2-1/2 day single-class intensive format.
- Lectures are typically 45-60 minutes with a Q&A following.
- We try to host one or two virtual events per month, in weaving, spinning, dyeing, felting, surface design, and other fiber-related practices.
- We use Lessonface to manage registration and host the Zoom meetings and recordings.
- All classes and lectures will be recorded and available to students for 30 days after class concludes.
