104 Building Blocks of Successful Rigid Heddle Weaving
104 Building Blocks of Successful Rigid Heddle Weaving
Do you have a rigid heddle loom that has been gathering dust and you would like a refresher on this easier and quicker way to weave or would you like a fun and fast way to weave and use up some of that stash we all have? This class will be a building block kind of class where each skill we learn will set us up for success and ready to move the next step.
Proper warping sets you up for successful weaving. Good plain weave sets you up to move to pick up patterns. Pick up skills set you up for a bit of Krokbragd. Taken one step at a time makes each skill doable. No weaver left behind as we all learn together. We also cover weaving with 2 colors, clasped weft and will do a bit of Leno with beads. This is a step by step class with no weaver left behind and suitable for beginner and intermediate students. Low pressure and low stakes but lots to learn.

Instructor Bio
For Constance, spinning, weaving, knitting, sewing, learning, and teaching are all just are offshoots on the path of a creative fiber life. Learning to crochet at age 5 started Constance on a very crooked path of being a craftsperson. After being a glassblower and running her own studio for 30 years she returned to her first love of fiber and nothing is more fun for her than teaching, introducing people to the magic of weaving in general and and rigid heddle weaving in particular.
