Volunteer at MAFA 2025

The MAFA Conference is an all-volunteer effort, with many opportunities to get involved both before and at the conference.

Before the Conference: planning for 2025 starts this Fall!

Volunteers start working soon after each conference ends and in the two years leading up to each MAFA Conference. Our heartfelt thanks to the MAFA Conference Committee–a group of volunteers spread throughout the Mid-Atlantic region give their time and energy to make our Conferences a success. 

For 2025, we particularly need volunteers to take on the following important committee roles.

• • Ads and Donations Coordinator – contact advertisers and organizations, and manage submitted ads and donations. Skills needed: good communications, spreadsheets, and email.
  • Weekend Classes Coordinator – solicit, schedule, and coordinate up to a dozen 2 to 3 hour classes for day trippers on Friday afternoon and Saturday during the conference. Skills needed: good communications, spreadsheets, and email. Experience scheduling guild programs/workshops helpful.
