Use the form below to apply to teach online for MAFA Virtual. We will contact you as soon as possible about your proposal.
We are looking for proposals: from new-to-MAFA and more diverse speakers and instructors; for topics that don’t work as well in our in-person conference’s 2-1/2 day format; and of course from our familiar instructors as well.
We offer virtual classes in all forms of weaving, spinning, dyeing, felting, surface design, and other fiber-related practices. We usually take July/August off, and around the holidays in December, but otherwise classes run year-round.
Programs may include lectures, classes, and workshops, which can range from lectures with Q&A, to 2 or 3-hour demos or hands-on classes, up to multiple 2 or 3-hour sessions spread out over days or weeks for more complex topics.
We use Lessonface to manage registration and host the Zoom meetings and recordings.
All classes will be recorded and available to students for 30 days after class concludes.
