Workshop Instructor Payments
Make sure you get a W-9 and issue a 1099 for your workshop instructors and outside speakers if their fee is $600 or more. You’ll also need to send a copy of the 1099 to IRS. Find more info here.
The easiest way of handling the W-9s is to send the W-9 along with the contract for signature. You can get a fillable-PDF W9 form here.
MAFA will host your website for free. All you need to do is buy your domain name for a yearly cost of approximately $15. Need help? MAFA’s webmaster can help you! After you or the MAFA webmaster creates the website, MAFA will host it on MAFA servers at no cost to you.
