Any interested commercial enterprise, institution, organization, school, or individual who is not a member of a Member Guild, is invited to become an Associate Member in the MidAtlantic Fiber Association.
This membership entitles individuals to register for MAFA conferences at the same time and same price as MAFA guild members. Associate members may attend Representative Assemblies, but are not entitled to a vote.
Dues
Associate membership dues for a 2-year term are $25.
Young Adult Associate membership dues are FREE for those 18-25 years old at the time of joining or renewing (with a copy of your ID.)
- The first term of membership for an Associate Member shall begin on the date of acceptance and end on September 30 of the next succeeding even-numbered year.
- Subsequent terms shall be for two years, beginning on October 1 of even-numbered years and ending 2 years later .
- 2026 Associate renewals are due starting on October 1, 2026.
- Associates who have not renewed by October 31, 2026 will lose membership privileges.
- New members may join at any time.
- You will be emailed a copy of your application for your records.
Payment
- Electronic payment online by PayPal, credit/debit card, or Zelle is preferred. There are no extra fees for online payment.
- If you would like to mail a check, instructions will be sent with your email confirmation. Please do NOT mail a copy of your application with your check.
