MAFA Operations
MAFA is governed by the Representatives Assembly which meets two or three times a year, and by its Board of Directors, which conducts the day-to-day operations of the Association.
The Board of Directors consists of four elected officers, and several additional directors who are appointed by the Board.

The governing document of the association is the Bylaws, last amended in November 2022 by the Representatives Assembly.

The MAFA Operations Manual includes further detail on qualifications for and duties of the Board members and the representatives.
The Board has defined several policies for the Association.
The Board also maintains a set of Standing Rules, used to document board policy and provide incoming board members with some insight into past operations. The Standing Rules may be changed at any time by a majority of the Board of Directors.
