We are a vibrant guild serving all fiber arts disciplines and artists/crafters at skill levels ranging from beginner to professionals. Our members come from Central Virginia and beyond.
Whether you are a weaver, spinner, knitter, crocheter, dyer, felter, quilter, basket maker, sock machine knitter, braider, beader, or embroiderer, please join us for informal craft-ins, educational programs, dye days, workshops, and special events. Recent workshops have included Fiber Prep Day, Surprise Plant Dyes, the 4-part Secrets of Shibori with David Heustess, and I-cord Tips and Tricks with Margaret Radcliffe.
As a member, you’ll be able to attend some programs and meetings virtually, and you’ll be able to register for guild workshops and programs at a reduced rate. CVFG is a member of MAFA, so you’ll be eligible to register early for the MAFA Conference at the member rate. We invite you to become a member!
