Weaver House – VIRTUAL
Weaver House is a yarn shop, textile studio and weaving school located in Philadelphia. Our shop is carefully curated with specialty yarns and fibers sourced from around the world, hand-selected goods, crafting materials, looms and weaving equipment. We also have free downloadable weaving patterns and resources.
We carry yarn brands including but not limited to – Brassard, Bockens, Mondofil (Japan), Daruma (Japan), Henry’s Attic, Gist Yarn & Fiber, Paperfine (Austria), BC Garn (Denmark) and Wonderfil. Our specialty fibers are experimental and inspiring to weave with – hand-spun ramie from Japan, hand-spun hemp, banana fiber, nettle, silk and more from India, 3-ply linen from Lithuania and paper yarns from Vienna. We often have an assortment of unique mill-ends, balled into smaller put-ups for sampling and small-loom weaving.
We carry all sized looms, including pocket looms, beautifully crafted tapestry looms, rigid heddle looms, floor looms and beginner weaving kits. We’re also a dealer for Schacht and Ashford looms & weaving accessories.
