Show off your weaving and towel making skills by having a good old-fashioned kitchen towel exchange. Open to all conference attendees, as well as MAFA members who are unable to attend in-person, everyone who participates receives a towel to brighten up their kitchen! During Friday and Saturday of the conference, all towels submitted will be on display for conference-goers to enjoy.

Information for Towel Exchange Participants:
- AFTER submitting your Entry Form, please submit your Towel Exchange Project Form online. No towels will be accepted without a project sheet.
- Label your towel with your full name and the name of your guild.
- Drop off your towel Thursday, June 22nd from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the designated table near Registration.
- Remote Participants Only – Ship your towel: Once accepted to the exchange, the Towel Exchange Coordinator will provide shipping information.

What is a towel exchange?
A towel exchange is a fun event in which each participant weaves a towel, brings it to the conference where it will be exhibited, and takes home a towel woven by another member of the exchange group to brighten their kitchen!
I have a rigid heddle loom. Can I still participate?
This exchange is open to weavers at all levels and with any type of looms.
How do I join the towel exchange?
Join the exchange when it opens for entries on February 15, 2023. In the meantime, check out the exchange guidelines here.
Where do I submit my towel details?
Submit your Towel Exchange Project Form online. This form gives us all the information needed to enter your towel in the MAFA Sample Database.
